An Image Retrieval System Based on Bag-of-Features
  • Contribution: First applied Bag-of-Features model into image retrieval and proposed an integrated SIFT-LBP image feature, which increased the average retrieval precision by 11% in Corel database.
  • Framework: Locate patches around interest points in an image→ Extract integrated SIFT-LBP features in each patch to form local description→ Cluster in the feature space to form the codebook→ Compute Bag-of-Features histogram of each image→ Similarity matching to retrieve similar images.
